About FLL

FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a world-wide competitions where students create teams to compete in a LEGO tournament.  Each year the theme changes with different challenges.  There are three parts to FLL:

1. Robot Challenge - where you build a LEGO robot with attachments to complete LEGO missions on a 1m X 2m table.
2. Research Project - the team researches that year's theme, find a solution to a problem in that area.  For example, in 2013 Nature's Fury, we created a portable water still to get clean to people during/after a hurricane.
3. Core Values - we respect each other, our mentors/coaches, and other teams.  As part of this, we are try to practice Gracious Professionalism.®
